About us
The Philosophy Institute of Universidad Austral was created in 2008 with the main goal of promoting interdisciplinary research. As a result of this research it endeavors to generate a humanistic and Christian thinking, able to provide a philosophical foundation to the different disciplines studied and taught at Universidad Austral, addressing contemporary scientific investigation.
Institute's research fellows
The Institute gathers experienced scholars, from whom younger researchers can receive adequate and rigorous training, both in Philosophy and in the scientific disciplines represented by Universidad Austral’s different Schools. The research carried out at the Institute aims at the philosophical foundation of their own sciences from an interdisciplinary perspective.
