Within the Project “Determinism and Indeterminism: From Science to Philosophy”, the Institute of Philosophy of Universidad Austral will carry out a study in order to assess the interest aroused by the big questions discussed during the Project and the opinion of some specific audiences about them.

In the initial phase of the Project two specific surveys will be carried out:

Survey for journalists

This survey is addressed to journalist in Latin American radio, TV, graphic media and internet. The main goal is to identify the sources journalists use to access academic knowledge about the topics of the Project and to study how they present this knowledge to the public opinion.

Survey for academics

This survey is addressed to academics of Universidad Austral of any discipline. The main goal is to identify interests and stances on the debate “Determinism and Indeterminism”.
