The Project “Science, Philosophy & Theology. Latin American Perspectives” (Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion, University of Oxford) awarded a proposal submitted by Dr. Juan Francisco Franck one of the nine Oxford Templeton Latin American Fellowships. These grants are meant to fund visits of academics from other regions of the world to Latin American Universities.
The grant amounts to USD 14.000 and will fund the visit of Dr. Georg Gasser (Universität Innsbruck, Austria) in March 2017. Among other activities, during his stay at Universidad Austral Dr. Gasser will teach a course within the Humanistic Studies Program and will coordinate together with Dr. Franck an interdisciplinary workshop on “Personal Indentity and Agency”, open to researchers in philosophy, neuroscience and psychology all over Argentina.
