This Artificial Intelligence (available in Spanish) article was written for the Interdisciplinary Dictionary Austral by Dr Manuel Alfonseca (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) and aims to offer the reader an updated version of artificial intelligence, in its two meanings of weak artificial intelligence ( which we already have and is within our reach ) and strong artificial intelligence (construction and programming of machines as intelligent as us or even more), along with a review of the various philosophical positions on the question of whether this objective is feasible or not.
