Between August 1st and 12th we received the visit of Professor Juan José Sanguineti, associated researcher of the project and Professor of Philosophy of Knowledge in the Faculty of Philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome). On August 2nd and 4th, Professor Sanguineti gave the seminar Convictions and certainties, in the framework of the Humanistic Studies Program, addressing important questions of philosophy of knowledge, as the notion of truth, compatibility between different epistemic planes and intellectual virtues and vices.

On August 3rd, the professor gave an open lecture on “Mind, Brain and Soul” at the Pilar campus, attended by about 65 people interested in the subject.

Finally, on Thursday 11th, he was in charge of the third session of the seminar “Person, mind and brain” of the Institute of Philosophy, with an open lecture entitled Neurosciences and anthropology, organized in cooperation with the Saint Thomas Aquinas University of the North . It was a motivating class attended by about 60 academics and 50 students. This event was filmed and the video will be uploaded on this site.
